While it may be upwards of 90 degrees where you are, many of our favorite brands are rolling out their fall collections this month. Whether you’re heading off to school in the next few weeks or just looking to be prepared for the next season, we suggest taking a trip to some of your favorite stores to see what’s new. We went through and picked out some of our favorite pieces for the fall and put them together into this nice little outfit.

We want to start with the shoes as we immediately jumped at Phineas Cole’s new offerings for Fall ’10. We’ve been feeling slippers for quite some time now and we couldn’t have thought of a better twist on the classic piece than using a nice plaid wool in place of your standard velvet. These shoes will really add a smart touch to any outfit and will work especially well with heftier ones like corduroy and tweed.

On the affordable side of things, we’re really high on Rugby’s University Corduroys as they have such a great fit for half the price of many of their competitors. Along these lines, J. Crew continues their good work by bringing out a grey tweed sport coat in their Ludlow fit. Look to pair these wit ha nice club collar oxford shirt like the one featured here by Brook Brothers Black Fleece and pair with a nice seasonal tie.
