Prepidemic Promotes: Ralph Lauren Purple Label Sportswear
If you’re not familiar with Ralph Lauren Purple Label, let us be the first to introduce you to the most luxurious collection under the Polo umbrella. Purple Label is Mr. Lauren’s answer to luxury brands like Hermes and Loro Piana–not to mention some of those folks on Savile Row thanks to their made-to-measure program. This fall, the Purple Label sportswear collection has kept this tonal, much like the Phineas Cole collection we reported on earlier.
As expected, the collection is more subdued than that of Phineas Cole, yet nonetheless impressive. We absolutely love their sport shirting as it’s refreshing to see this shirt style dressed up a bit. Along with the shirting, the trousers are absolutely spot on. It’s great to see what sportswear can look like when it gets the Ralph Lauren touch as too many guys think you have to either wear jeans and a t-shirt or a full suit. This is what we’re hoping people can take out of the collection, unless you do happen to have the finances to pick out pieces and make some purchases–if you can, by all means do so.
